Why Juggle Stars exists

I’ve coached soccer for more than 30 years at every level: youth, club, high school and college.

Early on, I noticed the same gap on almost every team: players were missing individual ball skills. Juggling is where those skills start.

Not every good juggler is an excellent soccer player, but every excellent soccer player is a good juggler.

The problem is time. Youth coaches get only a few hours of practice a week, and juggling often gets cut because it looks slow or boring. So players have to build that touch on their own, and they need a reason to keep at it.

I first built this site nearly 15 years ago to help develop more individual talent among our nation’s young players. Juggle Stars is the new version: short practice patterns, star tests from 2 to 25 juggles, and a sticker for every level.

It’s free. No charge and no fees, for players, parents or coaches.

Our coach and star characters were designed and drawn by a real person, not artificial intelligence.
